from Ausiliatrice, released March 14, 2015

----------------------------------------------------------------

This is the first group that has released a second record with Knockturne Records, which surely means something. This "Ausiliatrice" is a more mature work, which does not mean more boring. The stylistic variety that was part of the charm of "Dulcia cum amaris" (KTR005) has led the group to a position more centered in jazz, in its broadest and liberating sense, as the basis on which the themes develop. More elaborate and complex rhythms, melodies that are created as the notes go emerging of the guitar, harmonic variations, grooves and swing ...
The instrumental virtuosity of Juan Miguel Martín, Juan G. Acosta and Manuel Montenegro, acquired through participation in uncountable jam sessions and side projects, and how it serves to an original idea are unique on the Spanish scene. And they've got what every artist aspires to: to have a distinctive style and a personal voice. Now, from this record, we can talk openly of a "Malheur Sound"
